Mundial Montréal Official Showcase - Farhad Khosravi Ensemble (Myriade Quartet)

  • Maison de la culture Marie-Uguay 6052 Boulevard Monk Montréal, QC, H4E 3H6 Canada (map)

The Farhad Khosravi Ensemble is made up of santur (Persian hammered dulcimer), a string quartet (two violins, viola, and cello), and percussion, with original music composed by the award-winning santur player and composer Farhad Khosravi. Their music is a mélange of East and West with elements from the Persian and the Western classical music genres.

Farhad has recorded two music albums and composed music for multiple short films and theatre productions. In his recent project, titled "The Leopards Who Have Run with Me", written for santur, string quartet, and percussion, he engages in storytelling through instrumental music.
